Facebook removes privacy setting, no alternative

Who can search my profile on Facebook? In the future, anyone who has not explicitly blocked. Facebook announced yesterday in the newsroom on to remove the function entirely within the coming weeks. For users who have not activated the function anyway, the option has been permanently deleted from the privacy settings almost a year before.

Facebook is of course again nice words to gloss over the resolution of privacy and underlines the importance of privacy of each user - but is in no way a fact.
