I am so happy that a prominent Muslim cleric
has come out in support of the Guardian's anti-FGM campaign. Can we urge
other Muslims and non-Muslims to reach out to Muslim religious leaders
to take this brave compassionate positive and very MUSLIM step? The
Koran never calls for such mutilation --
