The NSA NEEDS 850 billion of our emails and
phone calls. BTW US activists and journalists are describing specific
KINDS of emails now missing from their inboxes and not bouncing back --
relating to specific projects or people.
I have tried to
warn Americans that there is no reason to think that the NSA will ONLY
"look" and not tamper. This is why I hope US business will lead the
fight to roll back NSA surveillance.
I often tell the anecdote of a
high-level Republican who warned me years ago that another senior member
of the Republican elite who objected to The War on Terror had his
electronic communications 'switched off' to the point that he went
